Yeah, gotcha ya roadmedic.... I have finally found the info I was looking for..."Weighs 10,001 pounds or more
Has a gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating of 10,001 pounds or more"
The part about GROSS COMBINATION is what gets me...Now, if I was to just use the Van with a GVWR of 9400lbs,,,I would be good to go. Now, I need to figure out if this is as good a deal as I thought it might be. I found the Van and Trailer for under $5,000 Trailer will be new but Van is a 94 but, only has 86,000 miles on it. Has a 351 W motor. Was going to set the back of the van up just like a sleeper and pull what I could in the trailer.

Not true brother... this particular van has a towing capacity rating of 10,000 lbs The trailer has two axles and a rating of 7000 lbs I dont plan on ever loading that trailre to the max but I have an e150 now and had one before. They tow just fine, as long as you stay under the allowable capacity.

    Roadmedic Thanks this.
