Bad weather is the best time to take a test.
A lot of inspectors short cut some of the test because they don’t want to get wet or cold...

Keep it and go for it. Not everyone passes on their first try. They will tell you what you missed or messed up on and that will help you if you have to retake it. The more you can learn now will only help you be less nervous the next time (if needed)

I don't even think its legal to do the road test in the rain in Louisiana. I know that the DMV won't do road tests for class E drivers in the rain.

Id say schedule it on a dry day. You'll have enough to worry about without the added issues of rain.
Yes you'll be driving thru some ######## solo. But for now focus on getting your test passed. Wait it out for a better day IMO.ZVar Thanks this. -
There is no right answer here. The only real downside is you will miss an exam slot and have to wait. I think if the examiner is willing to test you in the rain you should at least attempt the test. However make sure you keep all of your mirrors clean and if you have a limited amount of (get outs) use them wisely. I know a girl that failed her backing because her right side mirrors frosted up and she hit a cone too many times. If the examiner is not willing to overlook some of the mickey mouse stuff on the test, don't test.

Might make the pre trip easier if the examiner doesn’t want to sit out in the rain with you. I’ve seen them tell drivers that they passed the outside PTI and could move on to the inside once they were satisfied they had a good understanding. Most inspectors can tell pretty quickly if the tester has put the time in. Still gotta check all the boxes, but in a monsoon…Jcris4991 Thanks this. -
