Ohio is a hotbed for Class "B" jobs. You are in, or close to,.................. the expediter power lanes.

There are also dump truck, Box trucks, Garbage trucks, Cement trucks, CMU block trucks, Sheet rock trucks, Lumber & truss trucks, General construction supply trucks, Produce trucks, Furniture trucks, Tree service trucks, Mulch & stone trucks, Fuel oil delivery trucks, Propane trucks, Asphalt trucks, etc. etc. etc.

There are probably a couple dozen other Class "B" associated jobs as well.

Drive around from place to place and leave a current DMV report and your resume.

They may not need you right away, but drivers come and go all the time, even in local Class "B" type work.

I am willing to bet that you won't be unemployed very long if you have a decent driving record.

There are far more than you realize. All you need to do is go out your front door and drive around. The newspapers and Craigslist only show probably 10% of the jobs that are out there. Like I said in a earlier post. Drive around and drop off resume's at every company you see that have trucks.

x2. On any given day...I go past 10+ places that are looking for any CDL driver (most are places that run class B trucks). These are places that...as you said... just put a sign out by the road...and aren't going to advertise much (if any) online.
