I knew a team that pulled DoD loads, but I can't remember the name of their carrier and I've lost touch with them . . . they hauled missle parts in the box and ammo in a dromedary--extra $ for the dromedary) and big wooden crates with "stuff" inside them. It was all vans. The carrier was teams only; of course, everyone had security clearances. A team member had to be with the truck at all times and all loads were expedited.

 

Contact the US Marshalls Recruitment office http://www.usmarshals.gov/index.html . They do some of the sensitive work or even the Secret Service as they control the money and it's shipments. You can also check with the GSA I believe or the US Government http://www.usajobs.gov/ Or if you are ex military and held a "rank" check with the 6'es or higher clubs (any "lifer" knows what I mean! The ones who REALLY run our military or the ones who know WTF is really going on!) and see who does the major hauling into sensitive posts or sections of bases.

Someone put the name of that company out of Denver that runs those bullet proof Petes. I can't for the life of me think of the name. The blue trucks.

nothing to exotic about dod loads--i have hauled quite a few as a single driver-- lots of stuff headed over to afganistan

 

The Company is western distribution--but the money trucks have a different corp name on cab--still western on trailer

as mentioned Tsmt hauls alot of the secure commodiites . have to have a spotless background .

 

I drove Armored cars for 8 years part time.It was interesting at times.
