    We work with Clean Harbors regularly and many of the gentlemen I've dealt with were certainly no spring chickens.

    Agreed. Been here since February 2019. Pretty content. Lots of drivers have been here for a long time. I regularly talk to one who has 35+ years here.

    We work with Clean Harbors occasionally. They do a fine job.
    If age discrimination was really a factor none of their people we had on our sites would have been there.

    What does a Clean Harbors driver do besides drive? Is it like being an industrial scale honey dipper? Or in this case, donkey dewdee?

    It depends on the equipment that the driver is using. Some do indeed just drive. Some do pumping, other load and unload rolloff containers, some do dumps.

    I looked up their hiring page on Indeed. Not very impressive, avg. driver pay 38k/year, lots of unhappy people.

    I did notice in the past that they had lots of ads out for drivers, not typically a good sign.
