I thought that it would be interesting if someone were to invent a contraption that resembles a kinda between a power washer for decks and a flamethrower but a jet of steam would come out to clean shower rooms at truck stops.

Ya don't put it in the shower with you that's what flip flops are for. You put there towel on the main floor when you're drying off.

Trucker 0-1 years must run regional or haven't had a chance to have to stop at a crap hole stop. Trust me dude, that truck stop that you think is clean is not clean, take a scientist in there and let him show you how dirty it is.

LMAO! If you have seen the way some of these janitors clean the showers at the stops you would know how others and I feel about showers. I feel comfortable stepping on my floor or in my shower barefoot. You wouldn't catch me stepping barefoot in a truckstop I don't care how clean you think they are. There are so many people coming in and out of them showers one right after another, you can't tell me those janitors clean it spik an span every time 10 to 20 times a day? But to each his own, if you feel safe stepping barefoot on the floor or in the shower of a truck stop then have at it. Oh an was gonna say yeah it may be cleaned just like my shower at home but I'm the only one going in and out of my shower, and there are 1,000's of drivers in and out of the showers and some of the drivers I've seen make you sick and to know you're going in the shower after someone like that.... ewww..

Once again there are disclaimers. How hungry or how tired or how stinky are you? ALWAYS wear shower shoes/ flip flops. DOH

There is a little Flying J Southeast of Denver on the way or the way back to/from Amarillo. It has a dirt lot and tiny little place. Everytime ive been there ive been beat to death tired and thank God I have a place to park. They have little tiny showers that are decent with excellent hot water. Next door is a chinese place with some of the best chinese ive ever had in my life. And the food in the J is good too. Is it all really that good or just a port in the storm????
All I know is im clean, im fed, im safe, and I sleep like 19 mofo's.
Can I get an amen??? -
No Worries. The flamethrower idea reminds me of that SNL skit from the 70's, that shows what they go through before putting that paper thing on the toilet seat flamethrower and all. LOL
Toenail Fungus is nasty. If nobody in your house has it, your shower won't have it, and it won't matter if it's been a month since you cleaned your bathroom. Conversely, they could have just cleaned/bleached the Truck Stop Bathroom 2 showers before you used it, but all is would take is one guy with Toenail fungus to go in there between that cleaning and you to put you at risk.
Lamisil can cause liver damage, but now they have laser treatment -
That's great advice I've been to some horrible TA bathrooms...Their rough!!!

As nasty as some of the shower rooms look most of your reputable Truck stops (petroleum/ta/flying j/pilot clean the shower rooms after every use and it You feel for some reason it wasn't cleaned good enough all it takes is 1 complaint and you have the district mgr on the phone. I made a simple commeon mildew and soap scum being horrible and I was asked for my phone # by an employee . Next thing you know I get a call from the regional mgr apologizing and sent me a $50 gift card for the inconvenience. There has to be a good reason they care so much
