I THINK the point of Clearinghouse is your results from school are in a file cabinet (clearinghouse) that future employers access even if school goes kaput.

I'm not sure the results from school will be in your clearinghouse record. I am sure any test given by cops or current/prospective employers are in your record. I'm pretty sure communication is electronic, not phone.

Why are you worried about the test at school?

 

The company communicates with the clearinghouse..that’s it.

If you failed the test it’ll be reported to the clearinghouse by the school.

 

You’ll give permission electronically through your personal clearinghouse account. If you don’t have one yet you’ll have to get signed up.

Sounds like you’re just now trying to get a driving job?

School might find out which trucking companies contact them to verify your attendance/passing their training, but that won't necessarily tell school who hires you. Did school give you a certificate of completion? Company may accept that & not contact school? There are some trucking company owners on this forum. I'm sure they know the answers about this.

 

Just apply to the company and check the box that you haven't failed a drug test. Let the trucking company handle the rest.
