My local dealer doesn't buy every tool they bring on the market.
He believes that the best tools are the hands off the mechanic.

    That’s very true.

A Mechanic Somewhere probably used an overhead 40 ton crane to pull a sleeve out of an engine :rolleyes:;):laughing6:

Way overkill. They ussually pop out with ease with a heel bar. The old holdown bolt threads right in the top and can also be popped with a traditional prybar.

That's in competition with the 98-07 E-techs LOL. There's an engine somewhere behind all those wires

I've overhauled a handful of those, primarily AI motors in CV Mack's. Still better than MP motors in our GU's. Hate those oil leaking things.

piss poor economy is a lot of people's gripes with those. If any of your customers wanna get rid of the AI cam bump/turbo/restrictor manifold have em read this.

Mack AI460 AI427 AMI low torque low horsepower poor fuel mileage granite , dead dog , remediation

The few few guys that have done it are posting 1.5+ mpg over factory

    Shawn2130 and 650cat425 Thank this.

Isx motor. All the insulation came off around the dpf leaving the filter media to bounce around inside the can. Insulation is now on the face of the scr causing excess backpressure.

Nice pink hue to it. That filter has ate a gallon or 100 of coolant I'd say.......
