The latest addition that I saw was......

Auto driven dollies that hold the engine/ trans assy. They raise and lower to the installers height and position to install the parts before installation. They robotically follow a metal strip that is taped to the floor and is totally moveable. Its wierd seeing a row of engines moving across the plant all by themselves. They end up right beside the line at the set location.

I've seen that at the Ram truck and Cummins engine plant as well last year.

    It’s amazing to watch.

Every weekend I worked at Toyota doing concrete floor grinding.

I would see robots traveling pulling carts of parts and empty racks, following magnetic strips taped to the floor.

This one had a write up for driveshaft vibration. Customer dropped it off on Saturday. I was gonna jump in it and go for a drive..........don't think I would have made it very far. Not far away from a really bad day. 20200928_092334.jpg 20200928_092357.jpg 20200928_092408.jpg

Before I become apart of the click, click, boom thread, what would be causing my coolant tank of become over pressurized? I replace the relief cap, not overheating at all, not loosing coolant, just way over pressurized

What engine? If its not blowing coolant out how do you know its over pressure?

2 likely possibilities - air compressor or cylinder head gasket. Need more testing and by pass the air compressor to confirm the good or bad news. Air compressor being the good news. Head gasket failure can likely lead to overhaul real quick like.

I’m sorry for the little information. It’s an ISX 2250, that I had to delete. The coolant only blows out of the relief cap. I’m not making oil, no white smoke out the stacks, and still runs just at normal operating temperature. Could the coolant tank have failed or is not not likely?

Always bypass the compressor coolant first to be certain. More likely a dropped liner IMO. Sorry.....
