I understand, I can't find any good stuff except John Deere. Not for trucks, my potato cannon required high test.

    Nothing else has the ummmphf.

It takes practice to learn the right amount in that application. Too little, no seal. Too much..............lets put it this way, it takes a while for eyebrows to grow back!

Once watch a guy use acetylene. Fastest way to detach the complete sidewall and leave a black mark on the ceiling.

Was a new 425 Goodyear too. It exactly was a hold my beer. Let the welder help in the tire shop. Beers had been flowing. I for one was at a very safe distance. But man did are ears ring.

Man….. back in my tire days I never had to seat beads on any new rubber, especially the super singles.

Old hard recaps with the sidewalls sucked together blew big time. Some took 2 bead blasters and the core out and still wouldn’t take.

    Ahhhh …….how I don’t miss tire work.

Even the new caps sucked sometimes. But I normally got everything with blast tanks or blast rings.

My best was 31 drives off and on by myself as a young man in one shift.

January I put 8 drives on my truck. Took 1.5 days.

I do bus inspections for a local Farmer. He also runs a fleet of 17 buses. He was inflating a new recap (his own casing, known history) this October.
He clipped the air hose on after seating the beads. I had just walked away to water some bushes. Boom. It was the air pressure release that blew the wall out, not from being struck by the flying wheel. The inside paneling was 50 feet outside the wall
