If you try to shift the auxiliary without following a fully squared H, the linkage will jam and you have to go under the truck with a pry bar to get it free. Murphy guarantees that it will happen at a most inopportune time, as well.

Someone please help me figure out where this piece goes?

Anyone know where I can get JB weld in bulk?

That’s a Cummins ISX or X15 bellhousing with a piece of transmission bellhousing. Maybe a little bit of Paccar in there.

My guess the clutch had the case of exploding fireworks and strand the driver.

I’m sure a 40kg bag of Portland cement would work at patching that hole.

How many wheel stands did they get before the flywheel blew. Did they get the steers to lift over a coffee can? Lol

Would you cringe more if I told you this was a 2025 with like 12k miles on it?

It use to be an Allison 4000 series. The only thing holding it in was the PTO shaft, oil cooler hoses and the dipstick tube. Yes, the driveline was severed at both the back of the trans and at the front diff.

First thing i’d suspect is someones aluminum supply wasn’t what it should be.

    Ouch…. IMG_7671.jpeg
    # 1 does not look too good…the rod problem was #2 and it spun a main bearing on #4
Well that’s all for today’s dirt scraper edition

Looks like the rod didn't window the block at least. Had an ISB 6.7L industrial Cummins come in years ago. Broke a rod cap off during a runaway from a failed turbo and unfortunately the crank journal came around and drove the rod out the side of the block and into the injection pump. That machine ended up getting a complete long block dropped in it.
