Running lanes are good for me. I live in dallas that has a high concentration of freight so hometime will be better as they say. I will soon find out lol. They try to run you closer to where you live. The terminnal is really nice. They are an out and back company that bases their freight out of St. Louis. You leave here and come back to here. They will try to get you to where you live and back. I havent met the owner yet. Not sure if I will. Karen is the sweetest lady ever. The trailers are good. Some are new and some are a little bit older but they are upgrading as they go. I like what I have seen so far and it seems goout but I will have to run so i can let you know. I will keep this thread updated as I go.

Sounds good! Hope everything goes smooth for you and I've heard the owner is a pretty down to earth guy and cordial from one of their drivers. Is there much of a drivers lounge there? And how's the motel they put you up in? Thanks again!

They have a nice drivers lounge with showers and a big screen plasma TV. They also have a room with leather recliners that recline all the way back to sleep in. The motel is the best one I have ever stayed at for orientation. You get your own room and they will book you a non smoking if you dont smoke or a smoking if you smoke. They try to look out for your ammenities if they can.

Sounds better all the time. Lol. I'm real interested to see what shape of truck they give you!? I don't know why a lot of companies are so non committal as to what truck they are going to give you....

All the ones I have seen are nice. Newer ones are auto and older ones are 10 speed. Other than that they are basically all the same. The older one that I took my road test in was nice. It needed a little bit of cleaning but it wasn't bad. You will go to the yard atleast once a week and you have to have it washed when you come to the yard atleast once a week. They keep them as clean as they can and they do inspect them. They will not accept you having a dirty truck inside or out. It has to stay neat.

Negative sir. Shop was really busy with some major repairs and didn't get the trucks ready for us to get out of their today. It was a hectic day for sure being that we were all ready to go and the only place we went was back to the motel lol. It's a little bit of a set back but we have a big orientation class so they had more on their plate today. It happens sometimes. I will update you when I get on the road

Theres six of us in orientation. Climate considers us the second largest class they have had. Most of ys will get automatics but for the most part.. Every driver has raved in a positive way about the autos in our volvos.
