Are you talking about the pay rate of $0.40 a mile that sucks that very well may be so but they were willing to give me a shot and a job when nobody else would so I make like a grand a week sure I'd like to make 1500 or better a week maybe I'll find that someday again

Are the trucks governed there mr.Efon...Efon said: ↑Sitting at the Volvo dealer again today. Was here yesterday waiting to get an oil leak fixed, now having turbo issues. Maybe I can use this to persuade them to put me in one of the 20 new trucks they have sitting at their dealer in St. Louis?

Mr.Efon are the trucks governed there..Efon said: ↑I hired on with Climate Express and had orientation on the 20th of February. Pretty standard orientation. Drive test, paperwork and training on how to use the XATA communication system. A lot like Qualcomm but cheaper.
Got assigned a truck on Wednesday, the 22nd, and my first load that afternoon heading back to Denver, CO so I can grab the rest of my stuff. I was disappointed with the way my truck was cleaned inside. They have a detail guy that is suppose to clean the truck, but it seems that it was just swept out and made to not smell. Oh well. I was planning on deep cleaning it anyways. I got a little spoiled at May since I kept getting brand new, never used by another human, trucks. The truck I got assigned is a 09' Volvo VNL670. It had 407k on it. Overall a decent truck.
I have since been with the company 24 days now. I have ran 9.5k miles in that time. It would of been more if the truck didn't have little issues that required me to take it back to their shop in Union to have fixed. Its just the time sitting for little things to be fixed that bugs you.
Overall my experience here has been a positive one. They are taking possession of 50 new trucks soon and hopefully with mine being over 417K, I won't be in this one much longer. They are also building a brand new terminal in Union that will provide more room and be better for their office staff.Click to expand... -

Since this post shows up as first forums result I'll add some up to date info for the company.
First of all drove for them for a year from 2017 to 2018 and I'm back.
They have automatic Volvo 670s and 760s (phasing out the 670s)
Governed at 65
Pay is in the upper 40s with 9cpm of that being per diem.
They run mostly out of St Louis area and back.
Runs are normally to texas, Carolinas, Pennsylvania, and Denver but they do run all 48 except west coast and no north east.
They are a good company to drive for and easy enough to get along with.
Let me know if you have any questions.
P.s. I realize this is a Necro but this post still comes up as first forums result on Google so I'm sure there will be people by that are interested in this information.CarsNCameras Thanks this. -
I am headed to Union for orientation on Monday. Are you still working for them? I feel really good about coming to Climate, everyone seems so genuineAradrox said: ↑Since this post shows up as first forums result I'll add some up to date info for the company.
