Absolutely. I agree with everything you just said. When it was super cold or super hot out I always flipped it onto continuous. I was always paranoid the sucker wouldn’t fire back up when it needed to. Plus when it’s this hot and you’ve got a deep frozen load it just runs all the time anyway.Peace_Maker, Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this.

You're right about that. I got a load out of Holts Summit a couple of weeks ago, and that reefer was probably off for a total of ½ an hour for those 430 miles or so. I got a dry load after that, so I'm sure that reefer was happy to get a break lol.Peace_Maker, Lumper Humper and wulfman75 Thank this.

What's cracking in the midweek folks? I'm just sitting here in Pageland offloading. I lucked and managed to stay behind the copious rainfall courtesy of Debby. After that, I'm grabbing a load to take to Memphis to swap out with a driver then it's some much needed hometime.

Does anyone know of there is a limit on how many splits I can run in a row? So far I have seen that the Qualcomm allows a 3/7/3/7. But I need to know how it's going to behave after I add another 3 to the end of that.
Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this. -
It won't act up as long as thr splits equal 10 hrs. I've done it for a string of days, til I got to a point when I could take a full 10. I've done the 8 and 2 and 7 and 3 and vice versa and I've never been limited. It all depends on the load I ha e though. I use the splits as needed. I sure paused for 3 hrs in Birmingham yesterday.Peace_Maker, wulfman75, DreadfulDay and 2 others Thank this.

That will help a lot. I just got to GA for the last 3. So 3/7/3/7/3 will have legged me from ftw>>hutchins>stl> granite city>Finishing in waycross in 5hrs after the 3. I'm very excited for a 10hr tonight. Hopefully Atlanta doesn't screw me out of it. I hate the 7/3 split.Last edited: Aug 8, 2024
