I just got finished hauling dog food protein and my trailing smells like dead animals. I'm supposed to take this trailer to pfs and drop it. My trailer is clean inside but it stinks bad. Do you guys think dropping this trailer at pfs with the doors open is good enough to get rid of the smell or should I wait till morning to go find a wash or something?

I would have slept with the doors open all night as well. It'll definitely need to air out. Luckily you ain't far from the truck wash.

That's what I did, this smell was bad man. It could be smelled from like 30 ft away with the doors open. With them closed driving down the road I could smell it from the inside of my truck.

A washout helped but didn't get it, so I had them use a deodorizer. I was suprised how well the deodorizer worked. The trailer smelled like baby powder after, as if it never had rotten animal paste in it

Next time you have that issue, try a sprinkling a little bit of Folgers Coffee®️ in each corner. Usually a half to a whole scoop in each spot.

That should get the odors out, and you could watch the coffee roll out the back. Lol

I dont keep coffe in my truck but I'll give that a shot next time. How long does it take to clear the smell out?

In my experience, it only took a few minutes once the wash out was done. Best way to do it for me was to wash out, find a spot and air dry it if possible. Otherwise run your reefer at about 50-55 degrees for a few minutes to quick dry it.

Does anyone have a good parking spot close to the coca cola in Irving, TX? I'm delivering tonight in Temple and have to pick up there at 0900. Dispatch notes say we can't check in early.
