Have you guys gotten any 2025 trucks in yet? I seen one at Mack in Davenport today. Thought they looked a little weird yet more futuristic.

Mine is a 25 version of the 760 version. I know exactly which one you're talking about though. That's supposed to be the latest VNL series I believe. I think it looks like a million bucks. The interior caught my attention in one of those videos I saw of the Volvo reps giving it a tour.

I just looked at it again on their website and it's the 860. Looks kind of weird to me but to each their own. I wouldn't mind having the short mid roof version for pulling a hopper with.

Does climate utilize owner ops or have trailers with Tennessee plates? I'm down here at awg in Nashville. There is a white truck hauling a reefer trailer with TN plates. The trailer doesn't say climate anywhere on it except for on the mud flaps.

It's probably one of their trailers that they've sold in the past. When I was there there was only one owner operator. That's typically not their thing.

They definitely don't do owner ops at all. Early on when I first got here, I remember one of the shop guys telling me this story about why they quit dealing with owner ops. Guy had his motor go out in his truck. Of course that means he couldn't run anymore. His money wasn't good enough to.get his truck fixed. Ownership spotted him the money to what I think they said was like 30k or so to fix his truck. He ran as a company driver while the truck was in the shop, then started back running as an owner op once repaired. Had the agreement that he'd pay the company back over time. Next thing is know, that driver hauled boogie on the company without fulfilling his obligation. From that moment on, owner ops became a memory.

Hope everyone is doing well. Sorry haven’t been posting much. Got a new dispatcher awhile back and he’s been running my ### off. I’ll have over 13k miles for October. Currently running from Utah to Florida two drops at two separate Walmart dc’s don’t have to deliver until Sunday

That's good man!! You get a new dispatcher and don't miss a beat! You're running and I'm waiting to get going. I'm sitting in Goldsboro, NC waiting to offload.
