The broker ppw is all computerized now, and sent to customs beforehand. If it weren't for the fustercluck that is the GTA, I'd have no problem running Canada again.

Yeah the last few years if I had to go up there it was usually Winnipeg and Saskatoon area.
I HATED having to the GTA and Montreal.

 

Where do y'all park when you go to General Mills in Belvidere? Also, has anyone been to Silgan on a Sunday? Are they open?

 

There's I believe a speedway truck stop on 20 a few miles before ya make the left on business 20 to get to general Mills. I'd guess maybe 10 to 15 spots plus I've seen people park along the side street next to it. I've parked there before when I worked at climate.

 

Oh yeah I've been on a Sunday. Sometimes it's tedious to get someone to come to the desk in the main building. If you know which trailer you're hooking to, I'd hook tonight first then go to the main building. I second Professor's idea about parking at the Speedway. If I know where I was going after that, I'd always park at the next shipper, which sometimes was in Wisconsin, and other times Chicagoland area.

 

We loaded Saturday. Arrived in tx last night. Unloaded today. Now we got to put it all away and get the house all set up. I'm sore as all heck. I'm a getting too old for all that hard work. I had help on both ends. I certainly could a never done it by myself.

 

Holy hell I know you're going to get the best sleep. Moving is tedious. It never seems like it's that much til you have to go somewhere different with all of your belongings.
