So what are they using for the log program?
And did they go to driver facing cameras as well?

    bryan21384 Thanks this.

It's still an outward facing camera, though it looks like it has the capability to be driver facing. I was told that it wouldn't be activated unless necessarily, like in a crash or something. We went to Motive. I tell you, once we went to Motive, I realized ho outdated Omnitrac was.

So is that a program you use on your telephone or did they provide you a tablet for your logbook? Where I'm at we use JJ Keller on our telephones.

They gave us a tablet, but also had us download the app on our phones too, which I only used once when the tablet got wonky. I really like Motive way better. Even the way we send messages is easier. It has the stylus pen, and you write out your words in the little box and the message you write appears in the message area, and tap the little icon. Way faster responses. We also downloaded Sidekick too. We send delivered loads in through Sidekick. Many drivers still want to go inside the truck stop and use Transflow. They have a unwillingness to evolve in my estimation, because its 10 times more convenient. It is pretty fast too, so we got 2 resources to get messages and load info from. I like using the macros on Motive moreso than Sidekick. Sidekick is more in line with Omnitracs to me, just a faster messaging system.

I just looked up that Sysco, I don't think I've been there with Climate, but I may have possibly gone there in the past years ago, but my memory is fuzzy.

Been there about 3 years ago was the most recent time back when I was still running my own truck. They'll waste a whole day, that's pretty routine for them, so if you've got plans... Disorganized - check! Attitudes - check! Look at some of the horror stories posted on Google reviews. IMO the 2.5 stars is waaay too generous! Good luck!

Yeah I read them. Why I was asking. So far not too bad. Had a 0700 appt so missed the logjam at the gate I was dreading. Little tight but doable. Already unloaded just that long ### wait for paperwork. Gotta love lumpers.

What's kicking? I went home Thursday for some time off. Left back out this morning. Got a load picked up in Arkansas an kicked off in Oklahoma. Gonna run over by Tulsa in the morning and grab some fertilizer to run up to Nebraska. Had the wife drop our pickup off at the shop this morning. They called me later in the morning. It's gotta have a drive shaft, center bearing, u joints, and a new support collar. That was a big estimate of almost a grand to swallow. Glad I had some emergency cash put away.
