It was a brownish colored truck. I meant to make note of the truck #, but it was gone by the time I pulled back out by the clean out area to take the dog for a walk.

I remember when they off loaded some used trailers to trekker. Trekker somehow got it's beginnings from back when Henderson was in business. Or I should say that when Henderson went by the way side, I think Trekker gobbled up the remnants of it. That's the rumor an scuttlebutt version of that history anyways. I'd have to go back and study the Internet research on it again to get the accurate skinny on the matter. Although this is the first I've heard that Tim owned them. I did hear some scuttlebutt before I left Climate referencing the notion that Tim an the powers that be had supposedly started up another company. But no one came across with any actual company names to put with the rumor.bryan21384 and Lumper Humper Thank this.

So Henderson didn't get bought up by Prime? I thought they were a reefer company, or did they haul dry van freight too?
-
I talked to a trekker l/p father son team once while I was at Climate. They were just about to pay their current trekker truck off. The dad had worked at Henderson. They told something to the effect that Henderson had tried to convert over to dry vans or maybe just add a dry van division. Things somehow didn't work out. An somewhere along the way Trekker I guess bought some of Henderson or they merged together. Then Around the same time or maybe a little later on Tennant Truck lines outta Orion IL somehow acquired I guess what musta been left of Henderson's refrigerated side. Before all that took place Henderson had been more or less running power only for Prime pulling Prime 's equipment, but Prime apparently was screwing them over on revenue or freight lanes or a combination of the two, and the Henderson people got tired of getting screwed. Now if ya look online you'll see that Trekker and Henderson operate or were operating as two entities merged together out of Caseyville, IL. I couldn't find a date on that article to point out as to how recent it was labeled like that. I do know that if ya go by Trekkers Yard, ya don't see any signs of anything left of the Henderson side of things.

Just put my application in. I’m out of the Scranton PA area, so I think that’s a good lane for Climate.bryan21384 and motocross25 Thank this.
-
Oh yeah, I think they'll bring you in. Have you talked with any of the recruiters?motocross25 Thanks this.

You guys still do those potato loads? Those trailer washouts get pricey $$$motocross25 and bryan21384 Thank this.
-
Oh yeah, I just dropped one off at the drop yard in St. Charles Tuesday. Honestly, I hardly ever get washouts. I usually climb in there after every load and sweep it out, the way I don't burn as much time. Sometimes I get it washed out after a frozen load because it's too much moisture to sweep it out. If it's hot out, I'll let it dry out then sweep it.motocross25 and JForce28 Thank this.

I just talked with Paula and everything looked great but we hit a snag because unfortunately Climate had to change their pet policy to no cats which unfortunately is a deal breaker for me at the moment.bryan21384 Thanks this.
