Delivered my first load for meiborg this morning. Picked up a loaded trailer off the yard and delivered at Cummins in Memphis. I reloaded at a familiar place riviana (takes me back to the climate days) drop and hooked there and I’m sitting in sulphur springs Texas dropping in Dallas tomorrow. I reload in Carrollton TX tomorrow morning and head to London Kentucky Wally World for Friday. So far so good.

I'm running circles up here in Illinois hauling fly ash on a pneumatic tank. Picking up last load tomorrow going back to bettendorf Iowa. I'll drop that go hook to my hopper bottom get it washed out and then load Friday and muscatine. Going to be heading home for the weekend. Deliver in rice Texas on Tuesday. Supposed to be trying to get me a load to go to California out of rice texas. Hope it comes through cuz it's a really good load and then they're supposed to be a load of potatoes out in California going to center colorado. I hope it all comes together cuz it's going to be a really nice turn if it does.

I'll be loading at darling ingredients / bakery feeds. They load from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I should be there first thing getting loaded. Where are you going to be delivering or picking up in Muscatine? Maybe we'll get a chance to meet up over there at the Love's truck stop. Or there's the other one over there that has the dunkin' donuts coffee in it. I prefer the dunkin' donuts coffee. It's my favorite

That looks cool right there. I had no idea you were about that tanker life. Do you like it better than the hopper?

I loaded in Center, CO not long ago. Those jokers loaded me quickly, but rather than wait to have me sign the bills, they hurried off to lunch lol.....I'm hoping they put that run on you because that's big money and nice scenery.

Ahhhh yes Riviana. Those were the days. How are you liking that KW now that you've got a run under your belt?

It's just some power only work the boss picked up. We're picking up empty trailers at a cement plant at bettendorf Iowa. Take em to a power plant an load fly ash at Marissa IL down off route 4 South of Mascoutah an drop the load back at the cement plant. We don't have stack or belly blowers so we can't unload them. Pretty much everyone that's running it is just dropping and hooking. I think one of the trucking company's guys that we're hauling it for probably spends all day just blowing off loads at the mix plant as the product is needed. It's an easy 288.00 bucks a day for basically just driving. Ya can get 6 rounds a week if you're in position to load at 4 AM on Monday morning. I delivered my Pennsylvania load Monday morning an then got 4 new drive tires put on. Probably got hooked up an started on this by 10:30 to 11:00 Monday. So pa load plus 4 of these gives me 1883.00 gross for the week by Thursday afternoon. Gonna load a tx load on the hopper Friday an head home.

I really like the hopper work, but a change of pace is never dull. Was told today that I'm to be a buying an installing my flag holders for front bumper corners along with a beacon light for the top of my cab next week. The boss wants my truck ready to go for pulling some flat bed stuff. So that may be kicking off before too long.
