You guys expecting some new trailers? I stopped an had supper there at waffle house off 370 by Fastlane Classics today. Then I drove by an seen quite a few new trailers down at Craftsman. By the way on another note that flat bed stuff sorta fizzled out. They don't seem to have enough for it to be consistent. Plus they're making redesigned smaller units, so some of it is actually going on vans now. They offered us a run from the Carolinas but it was gonna be 8 units on a lowboy an the boss turned it down. Supposedly now we might get a Laredo van run which if it happens I may get to go through home more. I'm not gonna hold my breath for it. I'll believe it when I see it.

Oh yeah, they've bought a whole bunch of reefers going into this year. The 36, 38 series are gone now. They've shifted their focus to dry vans and we've been getting them a few at a time. I pulled one a couple of weeks ago and its like a breath of fresh air. Some of those dry vans were starting to fall apart.

That sucks on the flatbed work. Hopefully they set you up right with that Laredo run. The pneumatic tanker stuff fizzled out too didn't it?

We'll still get the tank stuff at times. They just call the owner ops in from the area when they get too busy for their company trucks to handle the load. We just pick up the slack.

I went out there one time some years back. If I remember right, you have to back up off the street into the dock. You can sleep on the street in front of the building. They unloaded me quick that day.

Well I don't really do a whole lot with Colorado since I don't work at climate anymore. But every once in awhile. Anyway tomorrow I'm going to go over there to Coors in Golden and get me a load of barley and run it over to MillerCoors in Albany georgia. Need to try to be there Saturday night if I can to deliver if not they'll take it on Sunday. But my hours will be cashed by sunday.
