That Monte Vista is nice place to load. I loved picking up there last time. They loaded me very close on the weight but I had weekend freedom that time

Oh ok partner safe travels to you. You did have a long afternoon for real. I just spent many hours in line at the beacon in Pontoon Beach. One the trucks in front of me caught fire in the wash bay. It's going to cost me a 34 hr reset. but it's ok. I am just glad this week is over. I am getting a loaded Hershey's trailer going for Pueblo, CO. Maybe I'll smell your diesel fuel and they'll reload me out of Monte Vista. Don't melt out there in Phoenix lol be careful brother

    Vic Firth Thanks this.

Hey man, hows your week going so far? I am sitting in Arkansas waiting to load for a short run to Holt's Summit, still a pretty decent week for me

We unloaded then reloaded in Phoenix swapped out yesterday at craftsmen then again in union an now empty in dallas. Waitin on a load from dispatch. I'd say pretty good/still got a couple days left to add miles to this week before embarking on a weekend long run. I imagine things might start slowin down a bit cuz of the holidays.

Oh ok nice, i am thinking everyone is getting routed home for the coming week. Robert was talking like that was the plan. It would be pretty good timing. I will have been out about 3 weeks by then.

Oh yeah. I broke into the industry pulling flatbed. My last job was a flatbed job. It began as reefer, but when the trucking down turn happened, the owner asked me to switch to flatbed. I tell you, it's not that many years the body can take flatbed abuse haha

I haven't pulled flatbed on regular basis since 1997. I rather miss it. I don't miss tarping tho. I guess my favorite thing to haul are 40' frameless dump trailers. 2nd would be flatbed. Vans an reefers are boring.

There is an attraction to flatbed. I can agree with that one. You get a strange load, then you have the joy of figuring out how to secure it. In the beginning farm equipment gave me fits. I didn't mind the tapping as long as it was an easy tarp job, as opposed to something that was 13 ft high. I do like reefer the best. I love the work at night
