Also it used to be whenever in the colorado area ya could count on about 90% of the time going to monte vista for potatoes. We go to several different sheds in that area plus center co and blanca co. But now we have the dairy loads out of Platteville as well. Those run on continuous as well.

Thanks for all the info. Surprisingly little time was spent on reefer operations during orientation even though only 1 of the 4 participants had ever pulled a reefer before. Most of the info I've gained about CE has come from this thread, so much gratitude to all you guys.

I'm sure orientation and reefer operation would've been different if we didn't have covid 19 goin on.

I've always been told that the fuel stops they give us is where we get the most discount.

After San Antonio we picked up at Laporte tx. Pulled out of there 80400 gross. We have to deliver it in the morning at oshkosh wi. We're currently in LaSalle il. I gotta run around the Janesville scale cuz i told her to fill all the way up at troy thinking we didn't have anymore scales to worry about. I checked an i guess the construction is done up in Wisconsin and Janesville scale has been bustin ##* makin up for lost time.

If you have an APU there is a 400 lb exemption for Wisconsin.

To correct an earlier statement. The construction was done up to just past the Janesville scale. They are stii working on the new interchange at beloit and still working up north between Janesville and Madison. We burnt off enough fuel by the time we hit Rockford so we ran straight up. Anyone ever headed up that way it looks like they're doing major construction on 20 at the 39 interchange below Rockford. All traffic on 20 is 2 lane on the westbound side. Don't know how far it goes cuz it was at a dead stop so i went over and up 251 to 173 thru town. Better traffic lights than sitting still.
