Climate Express

What ya up to @Lumper Humper ? We're still rollin. Didn't get our normal weekend break with getting hung up in Louisville yesterday. The wife managed a reset by this morning while i was working. Gonna have her run today then do a 10 and I'll have a reset by tomorrow afternoon. I don't know yet if they have a load ready for us to grab today at Palmyra or not.

 

Tried to pick up that LePrino load in Fort Morgan but apparently it already got picked up yesterday. Just chilling til this is resolved.

 

Well sounds like someone dropped the ball somewhere.

 

Kind of funny how they called me about this load on Friday telling me how important it is and then this happens. Not sure why they even called me about it, i get all my loads in on time. Oh well lol whatever. Guessing i’m gonna end up sitting till tomorrow.

 

Yeah i’m camping out today. Guess it’s video game or movie time lol.

 

I'm still looking for permanent parking - a place with a reasonable monthly rate so I can park my car there when I'm in the truck. Other than that things have gone pretty smoothly. I think I'll be ok til winter comes. I don't care for cold weather. I particularly don't care for what is does to the roads we have to drive on. I've never put chains on tires and I've been driving almost 11 years. Something tells me I'd better learn how.

 

Are y'all familiar with Sauer in New Century, KS? I'm parked in their yard with 5 other Climate drivers. Looks like a Climate Express convention. I guess they don't open til this evening sometime.

You won't have to worry about chaining up unless ya run west of denver on 70 or run out across wyoming. Learn how just in case cuz trust me you'd rather chain up to make it over a pass then sit an wait for the chain restrictions to be lifted. I've been here goin on 4 yrs and have only ran across chain restrictions twice. Oh its also a possibility on 285 goin outta denver down to monte vista.

 

Chaining isn’t that bad on duals. Glad we ain’t running super singles.
