I've actually seen 3 people in the truck for myself once...blew my mind. I broke down in Baltimore years ago and CR England came to the freightliner I was at. A trainer and 2 students. One student had plans to lease, the other, the smarter one lol, was going to team drive to gain the experience once finished with training. England's trucks don't stop at all. I went through training at Western Express on the flatbed side. We weren't aloud to start team driving until week 3. He was in the driver's seat unless we crossed a scale. The problem to me is a bigger one: you've got inexperienced drivers trying to train. Folks with a year or two or less of experience trying to train newbies.....how does a newbie train a newbie? The trainer I had my first year had 16 years exp at the time.

That’s problem..blind leading the blind...inexperienced trainers trying to teach what they don’t know and that is causing problems in this industry..there needs to be training standards set for this industryProfessor No-Name and bryan21384 Thank this.

Lol Carthage right? That means the cave......I don't know if I'm feeling the cave... I'm scared of the the dark

I couldn't agree more. A trainer needs to have been out here long enough to see a variety of situations, and they should have experience with winter driving.drvrtech77 Thanks this.

I'm at a loves not far outta Oklahoma City. Just seen what we spoke about earlier. 3 men in a truck. One of them appeared to be training 2 others about backing. Can you imagine how crowded it would get with 3 guys in a truck. And it's an older freightliner so most likely only a double bunk. So wonder how they manage it when they're having to sit someplace for an extended period. I guess one guy would just stay up.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

Well we lucked out. They originally reset our delivery for 14:00 tomorrow but they managed to get it moved to 08:00 for us.Lumper Humper Thanks this.
