I stopped for a 30 min break at that new truck stop in Joplin.....I shoved my face with a pork tenderloin, rice, and macaroni.....the rice could have used some hot sauce though lol

well we didn't miss each other by much. I swung in at Exit 4 to check out the line at the Beacon and it was too long. I'll have to see what the weather's doing tomorrow. I was hoping to get all the salt knocked off this thing before it sets over the weekend but I think it supposed to rain around home or rain and snow. So since we're bobtailing home tomorrow I'll swing through the local self-service wash and spray it off real good probably.

Yes, the big apple is the name, totally drew a blank there. That pizza looked divine too. They sell these monster fully loaded baked potatoes for 10 bucks also. The pulled pork one looked tempting. That's a really nice stop there, with tons of parking!

    Lumper Humper Thanks this.

On the way to Schnucks I stopped at the Big Wash in Marshall, IL exit 147 iff 70. If you're ever going that route, give em a shot. Nice people there. It won't be a long line because even though its 2 truck stops there, few drivers seem to know about them. 20210202_164901.jpg They opened it up not too long ago. I gave them 65 bucks to clean it up, and they were very good! They got every bit of road spray and salt of the truck. They have a dog wash too, that was unique!

Yea I've been wanting to try that place out. I spent 20 at our local car wash and 45 minutes cleaning ours a little bit ago. Figured it was better to do it cheap since i knew it was gonna rain an snow here. It actually started raining before i pulled out of the wash bay.

I was certainly looking for it once before when I stopped there. That's good because it'll 3 options for a truck wash in Joplin
