I've been there only once an i don't remember there being a charge. I do remember having to have some sorta special confirmation # of some sort that i had to call on call dispatch to get on a Saturday. This load delivery is gonna have to be rescheduled now cuz our load isn't ready. Can't load 2nd pick till 11 AM at the earliest in morning. No way to make st.louis by noon on Saturday. It's 1500 miles

That’s what I thought.. sounds like I got douped. Sorry about your bad luck with the produce pick tho. That’s a drag.

Are you down in Nogales or somewhere else on the border?

Rio Rico just up the road from Nogales. Our 2nd pick in morning has a Nogales address but it's closer to rio rico.

I used to deliver there when i worked for sharkey. That's King Soopers or it used to be right? Is it a Peyton's warehouse now or still King Soopers? I'm not even sure if I'm spelling the 2nd word of that grocery chain's name correctly. I don't think I've been there for Climate.

Yea I don't know why i always let it stress me out. This kinda thing is typical when it comes down to loading produce anywhere close to the mexican border. The lack of communication between the mexican carriers , the brokers , and the produce sheds is a huge one. There may even be more entities involved in the process than that. I've only done this kinda thing since I've been working at Climate so when it comes to reefers an produce i am definitely still learning. And I'm learning that there's a lot about the whole operation i'd sure like to forget. Maybe if an when we move to texas I'll just find me a local dry bulk gig an hang around spoiling the grandkids more often. I know the wife would love being home all the time with them.

What's a shakin ? We're still waiting to get 2nd pick on. I requested layover pay. Haven't got an answer yet except they did say they can only go by the info the broker gives them. Well heavens to betsy , like i didn't know that already. So i'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for it.
