We got a load out of coke. I've had those weeks where i did short runs all week like that. In my opinion it always seems a little slow freight wise in January. Or at least in my 3 yrs here January has always seemed slow. By the way i think you or someone on here mentioned something once about climate losing the ogden utah run. I asked about some stuff when we got our annual review done last week. Answers are that we had two trailers at ogden dc but they have pulled one trailer out of there. We're not gonna be getting those runs very often. Hershey's switched to using a brokerage for handing out the freight. So Climate no longer gets to deal directly with people in the office at Hershey's. We gotta take what the broker gives us and the broker is generally gonna give the runs to whichever companies will haul them for the cheapest rate. So on some of the runs we were doing climate is getting under bid on them. I was told that on out going loads Climate will not haul anything for under 2 bucks a mile. We also lost the keefe load out of bridgeton mo going to sparks nevada. Travis also said that we lost some phoenix runs as well. I'm not sure if he's talking about a hershey load to phoenix or the smith dairy load to phoenix cuz we have went to phoenix out of both shippers.

I thought it was the run out to Connecticut that they lost. In any event that's quite a bit of losses, so does that you and your wife will haul more broker loads west in your estimation? As for the freight, the last couple of weeks I've maintained but it feels like its slowing down. One my other friends here got a Hershey load to Fort Wayne for the weekend. I've hauled basically only Hershey loads this past week. A lot of Easter candy is moving

The Mclane foodservice dc. Gonna see if they can take me a full day early lol
-
Yea that idea definitely rates a "lol" cuz I've never been able to get unloaded that early at a Mclane b4. We seen a climate truck parked in a westbound rest area last night, i think it was somewhere in Kansas. Not sure cuz I've slept since then an my memory ain't what it used to beLumper Humper Thanks this.

Oh yea it was the new britain run, ok well I'm gonna have to remember to ask about that run too. We've been running pet food loads out of d.b. schenker in edwardsville to chewy.com and petsmart both in sparks nv. They are broker loads. But they are heavy loads which is good for running with out west in the winter. The keefe loads were always 25000 or less. But climate has 3 or 4 other teams besides us so losing the keefe load an the others is a really big hit for team freight. Climate isn't really a team oriented company they just try to make it work the best they can for all of us few teams.
