We haven't had to chain up yet. Almost had to going up parleys summit a couple trips back. That's just before salt lake. A few weeks back we were supposed to chain up coming east of evanston wyoming but the chain up area was full of parked trucks so we just kept goin. Had to stop at ft bridger wyoming that trip an just wait till daylight to roll again.

Oh ok. I've been fortunate in my time on the road. I've never had to chain up ever.

I need the truck washed myself. I'll probably hit the streakin beacon here in Indy to get it cleaned once the snow moves on. What is the truck was you went to there at the Petro? I cant even remember it and I stopped at the bbq joint about a week and half ago

I use the truck o mat. They're owned by Iowa 80 Group. When you get a wash done there they give you a 15 dollar off coupon for next wash good for the next 15 days. So ya can get truck washed at an iowa 80 truck o mat truck wash twice a month for bout a even 100 bucks total.

Chaining up isn't so bad , I've had to do it before. It's usually only needed just to get up a grade.

That's a deal right there. Ultimately cheaper than beacon. I know they wash trucks at the yard but it dont get it to my liking, I've seen the work of the truckomat and it looks like a million bucks

January is typically slow every year as freight demand typically drops after Xmas and also many companies are doing inventory and only receive what they absolutely need until inventory is counted so less taxes are put on them...

Yeah I don't think you would ever get ahold of anybody at McLane on the phone on the way to do that would be just go in there and check with the guard shack and see if you can get worked in early but I doubt it anytime I've ever been to any of the McLane Foodservice places they've been really all about the appointment time you know what I mean
