Now since i got potatoes rejected last week they paid me the miles straight from monte vista to st charles where i dropped the rejected taters with a stop off pay for moberly Walmart. That was 1070 miles. That doesn't make sense because the load info says monte vista to moberly is supposed to pay 930 miles. Google Maps shows moberly to st Charles at 169 miles. So it would seem that i got shorted 29 miles.

Oh i believed you, i just thought it funny that they gotta turn mine back up shortly after they turned it down. I know of a driver that had a long meeting with someone in the office and was complaining that not being able to pass an being hung out in the left lane too long is a safety issue. Said driver was also talking about going elsewhere to work. So the grapevine already leaked info earlier about trucks getting turned up. But i didn't want to say so on here cuz i hadn't seen a message about it. But thanks for confirming the earlier rumor that i heard.

Also didn't get the layover pay i requested for sitting on that tater load last friday , but i think that's due to the fact that i worked in a reset.

I talked to Lucas awhile back earlier in the year and he said they were talking about doing it. They must have had drivers starting to complain I’m assuming.

Makes me wonder though. I wonder if mine got cut back for a different reason than just me switching from team to solo. Cuz they didn't cut it back till February. They can leave mine at 65. I used to manage with a governed 63 mph mack so 65 don't bother me. It never made sense to me that they turned them up to 68 just cuz we were running team anyways.

I have heard those drivers complaining at the yard too. They're so worried about passing people. I just don't see where how much a truck is governed truly matters. I would have rather had an increase in pay, as opposed to getting my truck turned up. They could turn it down to 62 and I'd bet on myself that I'd still run more miles than a look share of the company lol

They look at the governed speed the wrong way. I view it as a good thing that makes it virtually impossible to get a speeding ticket on almost all interstates. Or maybe that’s just me coping lmaoooo

You have a very valid point. Even if ya had a turned up truck that could go over the speed limit, that power comes with the responsibility to behave yourself. So for some maybe having it turned down makes the job a little less stressful. I know we have to be responsible in all aspects of driving. Just saying, high speeds can be a big temptation.
