I’m on my way to Denver with Hershey. Was gonna grab a reset but there’s snow and strong winds coming so I’ll get one next time. Going to peytons in Denver for Tuesday 0445. Gonna be in Colby tomorrow. Get up Monday and watch the roads. 1-3 inches expected but gusts up to 50 mph gonna give the road crews a hard time clearing the roads. Hope they don’t close 70 between Colby and limon or I’m in trouble.

My best average per week for an entire year was 2800 as a solo driver an i have Robert an Travis. I have been down to 2600 a week average for a year as a solo. I seem to sit at times but there are other times i don't seem to have enough time to wash my windows. Ya just have to tell em up front that you only wanna work how ya wanna work. If they an you can't find a middle ground that will work for the both of you then i guess it won't work. I can't imagine them not being willing to work with ya though. Just tell em up front ya don't wanna have Justin for a dispatcher. Everyone i have always talked to that had him as a dispatcher was running their tails off.bryan21384, motocross25, 57 model and 1 other person Thank this.

I'm sure Climate will accommodate your wishes for a dispatcher other than Justin, so you don't have to run harder than you want. But remember, there is an old Chinese proverb that says, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

You may have to consider going the distance and waiting it out somewhere in Denver, maybe one of the truck stops in Commerce City or Aurora or wherever. I think there's some side streets nearby where trucks can park overnight if I remember correctly. I can't remember exactly where Peytons is in Denver. It seemed like there was one in moreso Aurora and that's where my mind was going to. I think that storm will taper off sometimes Monday so if you're already in Denver, you won't get derailed for delivery.Lumper Humper, 57 model and mdmgolfin Thank this.

I hear the same thing about Justin too. He runs them hard too. Some of his drivers don't always run the out and back model that we typically run. Every once in a while I get a load that don't come straight to STL or anywhere in Missouri. I think I've kept a pretty steady 2800 average since I've arrived here. My Januarys and Februarys have been slow so far each year, but once I get towards the end of February I start to get busier.Lumper Humper, Professor No-Name and 57 model Thank this.

I’m on recaps so only 10 hours to work with today on my 70. I can get to that loves in Burlington then push the rest of the way.Lumper Humper, Professor No-Name and 57 model Thank this.

I second this! It's something addicting about running those #ClimateMiles. It gets in your blood, and you can't get it out. It gives you something to chase lol and I'm a big time mile chaser.Lumper Humper, Bumper, dwells40 and 3 others Thank this.
