What does AWG stand for. I've heard of associated grocers but not AWG?

 

I got put on a Windsor WI for 13:30 on Monday. I told em since that is such a short run that i was just gonna take it home. I wasn't gonna sit in windsor for 2.5 days an besides that , with that late appt an the time Walgreens takes to unload i stand a chance of not getting reloaded till Tuesday. I busted my ### with splitting my log book 4 fricking times this week to make all the spread out appointments an didn't get a whole lotta sleep. From home on sunday till back home now it was 3163 actual run miles. Sometimes it's a thankless job.

Yes sir, same thing, people just leave the “wholesale” out a lot of time. I usually just refer to it as “A.G.” The one in KC the earlier you’re there, the longer you’re there. I said something about it one time shooting the #### with another driver he said the checkers that verify the unloaders counts don’t come in til 6 am. So if you have a midnight appointment you’re not leaving til 6:30 best case scenario. Whether that’s true or not idk but it seems to line up.

 

I had a 2AM appt at one in texas one time. Got put in a door at midnight an not released till 12:30 pm . worthless an poorly planned operation imo , an that's giving them far more credit than they deserve!!
