Climate Express

This load that I am delivering in Effingham in the morning is absolutely a load for McLeod Express and they are out of Decatur Illinois. Sherwin-Williams in Chicago to Sherwin-Williams in Effingham. I hope they're faster about unloading it than they were loading it. Course I don't know what I'm doing afterwards.

 

Well i sent a fake empty call. It came back no load assigned. Guess i am in effingham till monday morning. JMO , but 600 miles to start the week an not even getting a reset out of it is rather garbage poor planning on their part. I noticed friday that travis sent the plan an then was immediately unavailable afterwards cuz he had hightailed it for the hills. Tell ya what , i'm pretty tempted to pc the 4 miles to the customer an deliver an then pc 4 miles back to pilot. To heck with em an their always wanting to be picture perfect for dot an logs. At this juncture i honestly don't give a tinkers darn.

 

Yea well they can wait till 08:10 in the morning for me to start on whatever they need done. That's when I'll have my restart in. I wasn't about to be done Saturday night with no new load assigned after delivery and not get something in return for what i considered bad planning an wasted time. So i am getting my restart in so I'll have full hours to try an have a decent week.

 

I was thinking more like Robinson to palmyra would be nice!!!

 

Parked in monte vista to load taters in the morning. La Veta pass is supposed to get up to 5 inches tomorrow. If chain law goes in to effect then I ain’t moving

 

They sent me from effingham to smith foods. Got a load back to mclane in dallas. For 1AM Wednesday. Got 226 miles left and just under 24 hrs to get there. Slow week i guess. Good lucks with the snow.
