The only time our forward facing camera will record according to the way it was explained to me by safety is when there is an activating event. Such as following to close or a lane departure event without using your signal or a hard braking event. Or if you have an accident obviously you know one of those things are going to occur and cause your camera to record. Now also if you are speeding excessively downhill it will record it. How do I know you ask because I seen me on video the other day we're going down a hill too fast in Alabama. I am not sure what part that little rectangle box over there plays and all of it but it's all tied into the computer the truck and all that somehow and different sensors and the system will tell on you

 

Also if you start getting too close to somebody and your Dash start beeping at you then you have 30 seconds to back out of it and make it stop beeping before the camera will start recording.

 

Ok Guys I'm in Limon, so I guess I'll get in my reset here, since I don't del at Swire till 0500 Tuesday morning. Y'all stay careful out there as the high gas prices sure don't seem to have made a dent in the amount of holiday traffic!

 

Yea i am stuck sitting too. I coulda made it to oak grove petro but i stopped at higginsville. Deliver new century tomorrow night. Then sit till Tuesday morning to reload. I gotta get motivated. Need to cook some food an do laundry. Was considering buffing the rims. I brought my drill an mothers ball with to try an get it done some time.

 

ahh sounds like a different system then what I had. Mine stayed blue and when it was green it was recording.

 

Ours is live all the time. Any triggering event causes it to snip i believe they said 30 or 60 seconds prior to and after said event. It must be basically recording nonstop or maybe not recording per say , but videoing till a triggering event occurs. It got me letting it ride down a hill in Alabama and the video seemed to last quite a bit of time too me.

 

Got food done for the week. Replaced a couple trailer hub center tees an cleaned up the mess the bad ones made. Them dang things cost 65 bucks a pop. Holy crap. Well at any rate no more hub leaks on trailer 1210. Did laundry. What a busy day i tell ya. Gonna maybe polish rims tomorrow. Don't gotta be in new century till 20:00. So i gots lotsa time yet.

 

0730 am in Limon, beautiful Memorial Day, but chilly. 48 degrees. Guess I'll go in to I-hop for breakfast. Wish one of you guys were here to break bread with me, and someone to keep me company.
