Haha I know it’s force of habit and I don’t even think about it anymore, as far as I’m concerned the way I go around is just “the way” to where I’m goin. That scale is the KDOT training facility, and they won’t think twice about making an example out of you to train a rookie. Not interested.

 

Larry always has me take pics of tires an text him the pic for him to decide wether or not to get the tire replaced. Personally if i tell him the tire is junk that he oughta believe me but i guess i get his side of it as well.

 

Just givin ya crap. We go around it too. Sometimes loads are full loads that need scaled. Well I'm not taking 40000 plus across a state scale without checking my guages at a cat scale 1st. Anyhow , according to a memo at sauer there are 2 different routes around that scale. 1 way is ok from like 6AM to 6PM an the other way from 6PM to 6AM. I don't remember which is which.

 

Well now i know that that maneuvering is all about. Now i get why dude got a serious attitude when i told him i wasn't there for a tire that day. That's really bogus. I always got the impression that they seem to think it's their assignment to look everything over when ya just stop for something minor. Trying to drum up business like that seems kinda sheisty to me.

 

Sorry I thought I replied but it must have got lost in the stratosphere. So I’ll try again. I know you’re just kiddin, heck you end dumped before so I know you’re not bashful about doin what you need to do. Yea I think the route that takes you past the Coleman warehouse they kind of camp out on at night and have nothing else better to do. Also if you’re comin into Gardner from that way, it’s 35 mph but heading out it’s 45 mph. They know that trick too, and are waiting to nab trucks leaving the couple of warehouses to get back on the interstate.
