I believe it was Karen in recruiting that told me about that that one time that they prefer for the truck to be there at the yard and that they would I don't know get you a bus or something home and get you back. But dispatch is never made me leave the truck at the yard before I've always just took it home.

Man I tell ya the shop is gonna stay busy with one issue after another. The button to activate my flashers is also acting up. I have to crate a new way to turn them on every day lol. I'm spending the night in Orange. I tried to see if I could get loaded tonight but I didn't make it in time. At leas
I've taken it home every time I've had home time, and that's been as much as 4 days. Days is one thing, and then weeks at a time may be a different thing in their mind. I see both points of view honestly. If they will fly you home or put you on the greyhound, do they get the money back from you or do they eat the cost as long as you stay working here?

Well they offered me a ride with another driver to Springfield Oh, and no offense to anyone, in these times I will not be cooped up in a tiny cab with someone I've never even met. As far as them getting a driver a plane, train or whatever, ultimately it's not Climates financial responsibility to get me home, or back, even if I come back. The only tangible thing they offered me, was to use the Co's discount at the Super 8, for two hotel rooms. Still cost me 174 bucks.

I just figured they'd be willing to help a guy out more than that. Guess it boils down to ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Oh I know you will be back. I just think it's a crock that they can't help a good driver out. I mean I don't know whether this is right or not but I've been told if well this is a different situation I mean you're going on a medical thing. But as far as like if you were to quit or get terminated I had been told that if a company pays to get you to orientation then they are required to pay to get you home. Now recruiting at climate is said and no it wasn't recruiting it was one of the dispatchers was talking to me one day about a driver that they had let go because he come in out-of-sorts shall we say had been drinking I guess and as far as they did for him was they got him to the train station there at st. Louis and said you're on your own. When I questioned that even though that's really what the guy deserved the guy didn't even deserve a trip to St Louis if you were dumb enough to show up at the yard drunk but I asked and Travis it said that no they are not responsible to get you home no matter what it's not their problem it's just a general courtesy that they provide. But I don't know about that like I said I had heard that if they pay to get you to orientation are responsible to pay to get you home.
