@motocross25 I've got a load coming back to Kansas City, at the AWG. I remember you mentioning this spot a while back, it's been some years since I've been there, do they let you stage there til your appointment time?

57 model and motocross25 Thank this.

Last time I was there they didn’t want you there but an hour before your appointment time. If you go up 42nd street and hook left on Speaker, you can back right up into a dead end road out of the way.

And you can probably get away with creeping into the AWG lot. You check in at the guard shack and then they will either stage you or assign you a door and tell you to break your seal, bring it to the lumper and then open up and back in. F all that bust your seal open up and back in. That place is tight especially if you have one of the meat doors down by their shop, and the quicker you get docked and out of the way the better. Then go bring your seal and stuff in. Then they will text you when your empty, text you how much to pay them and then you bring your check or EFS code in, they give you your paperwork and you’re outta there. I was there with a meat load and I was there 8 hours. Their checkers don’t come in until like 6 so if you have like a 1 am appointment you’ll be unloaded, but they don’t start counting til 6 am. If there are trucks in that hidey hole I circled, there’s a wide shoulder by Estes I’ve seen trucks parked at. Just watch the entrance they swing out with triples. And if that’s full that whole area is industrial. I think you’re a lot like me where you’re not picky where you stay, and you can be creative with your parking and borrow other peoples lots. You’ll find something for sure. Good luck!

Ahhhh ok cool! That helps tremendously with planning. I'll plan on sleeping in the dock or somewhere nearby. You're right man, I'm not picky about where I park either. I've borrowed so many lots it's ridiculous. I only need 63' of space and I'm in there

    57 model Thanks this.

@bryan21384 sorry I didn’t mean to sound snippy earlier I just wanted to get you info quick as I could.

To the west of AWG right before Speaker hooks south and turns into 55th street there’s a large warehouse and there’s always trucks parked there. You can actually see some in the satellite view. No one is gonna run you off anywhere down there no one cares and KCK cops have bigger fish to fry than if a truck is parked at a warehouse it’s supposed to be in an industrial area. So you’ll be safe anywhere you land. Also as an important note you cannot get off on 635 south off of 70 it’s closed for construction. So if you’re comin in off 70 take 18th Street Expressway south to Kansas Ave. At the bottom of the ramp turn left (west) and follow that to 42nd street. Turn right (north) and it’ll veer left and turn into Speaker, and you enter AWG off Speaker Rd.

707A2DD6-F9F2-47E4-A40D-FB740A96A153.jpeg Dropping my sauer load off at craftsman then headed to the yard to get this cupping drive tire looked at and maybe balanced. Vibrating badly over 60 mph. My post trip yesterday noticed other drive tires on that side showing same signs. This pic was from earlier when I was getting loaded in Greenville
