Dang you got new drives already? That must put your truck around 300k. That's what we had on 1027 before larry would approve some tires an then he only did one axle. I seem to go thru a lot of steer tires. I think it was 1027 or one of our 1100 # trucks that ate up 3 sets in a 160000 miles. 1260 that we're in now at a 130000 just got 2 new ones. Had one replaced awhile back an then the right one went to crap so they put 2 new on at last service.

Man I'm at 340k on this truck. They only did the front drive axle too. You're right about the steers though. I've gone through them too. I had then swapped out 3 times since I've been in this truck. Those Climate Miles do a number on those Goodyears57 model, Professor No-Name and mdmgolfin Thank this.

I don't think they do alignments as much as they're supposed to. Also they have a bad habit of putting tires on without balancing them. It causes them to wear faster. After awhile ya start getting vibration in the front an then they balance them. Don't make a lick a sense. They oughta balance em in the 1st place.bryan21384, mdmgolfin and 57 model Thank this.

They actually had to balance my steers a few weeks ago. Don’t remember who did it but one had all the weights on one side and the other steer didn’t have any. That’ll cause vibrationsbryan21384, 57 model and Professor No-Name Thank this.

Professor No-Name, mdmgolfin and bryan21384 Thank this. -
They certainly didn't align and balance the last set I had. The driver side ture looked like hell and the passenger side still had lots of time on it. I made sure that everything got done properly this time though.
That food looks divine man! I'm waking up and getting instantly hungry! I know its was a blast spending time with your grandkids. Which one if their sauces did you use?57 model, Professor No-Name and mdmgolfin Thank this.
