Ok,I guess I'll go to the Petro at Kingdom city. The route is Us 50 from Union over to Holts Summit, by Jefferson City, but I don't see anything over there that would be conducive to being comfortable till 1000 Monday morning

That's normally how they usually route us is 47 to 70 to 54. I've never had them route us across 50 out of union. I've only ran 50 between jeff city an union before and if that's any indication of how it is i don't think i would care to run it all the way over by kc. If i am remembering right is holts summit close to kansas city. If so i personally would just run 70 all the way across an drop down to it once ya got over to that area.

Scratch that i just seen your other post where it said holts summit was by jeff city. Knew I'd seen it somewhere. Definitely up 47 to 70 to 54.

We're in Amarillo. I'm outta hours. The Mrs is takin a 10. Then she's gonna run a little more an we'll take a break so we can get laundry an showers took care of. I'll head on in to phoenix later tonight. We don't deliver till 15:00 tomorrow afternoon. The earliest they'll actually check you in is 2 hrs before your appt. But we can park there beforehand.

Every time ive done that load, I just slept on that street overnight. One time I ordered a pizza and had it delivered to the truck there. You don't have to wait til 10 am either. They'll take you as soon as they open. Sometimes they knock on your door when they first come to work.

I'm guessing they route it that way to give us more options for truck stop parking. I probably would have stayed at the yard til it was time to roll then took off. Honestly I'm not overly fond of running 50 all the way to Jeff City, but i probably would have gone that way to Holts Summit.
