Ahhh man, I'm parked at the toll booth in Big Cabin. I'll get down into Fort Worth tonight for an am delivery. You'll somewhat get the trace of my diesel once get to Catoosa. It's going to be Hella 2 lane definitely going in South Dakota. It's going to be a pleasant drive though. I couldn't tell you the last time I went to any of the Dakotas57 model, mdmgolfin and Professor No-Name Thank this.

There's definitely a lot of that high horse talk on here. We get that green light a lot so I take advantage of that at times. If I can get the equipment to the yard, I'll do that any day. I'll roll the dice something serious because too much time gets lost at these shops.57 model, Thrasher28 and Professor No-Name Thank this.

Still in a hotel in Arlington lol. I’ll smell your diesel.57 model and Professor No-Name Thank this.

Seen a climate truck rolling south on 169 near tulsa as I was headed towards the port earlier. I never ran that route when I worked at Climate. Wonder if maybe he came from new century ks. I remember hearing about new century runs to somewhere texas.57 model Thanks this.

I’d taken a new century load to Lubbock once. That was a while back57 model and Professor No-Name Thank this.

That driver could have been going towards Tulsa to get that Milo's Tea, or maybe he/she already had it and was heading back toward 44. We've been running to Moberly from there. I know of other drivers who've running that load with some regularity.57 model Thanks this.

Just delivered near Madison, WI this morning and loading in West Chicago to head back to STL. I must be the odd one out, but I enjoy anything in Chicagoland over most any other city because once you get out of the suburbs, there’s almost zero traffic. Short run tomorrow to build up recap hours and then picking up in Columbia to go to Brookshire, TX.
My luck with the last 4 trailers has been a lot better. Only little issue so far has been a loose bottom bracket on a leveling valve, but wasn’t any more than an adjustable wrench and 10 seconds to fix. Thought I was about to meet my maker when the airbag reseated and sounded like a tire exploded lol.
Enjoying the variety of the regular lanes, if that makes sense. Get to see lots of the country, but regular routes makes it easier to trip plan57 model, dwells40, Professor No-Name and 1 other person Thank this. -
One hundred percent agree about the regular routes. I've got all my sleeping spots and hideouts down pat lol. I'm in Checotah, OK fueling up then I'll continue back up to STL for a Sunday delivery. Then I will do a short run to Pevely Monday morning. Depending on how everything goes, I may try to work the log so I can reset and get started early Monday57 model, Thrasher28, Professor No-Name and 1 other person Thank this.
