Yea, I was always told that if ya gotta idle then idle, cuz they're not paying a fuel bonus incentive for keeping idle time low.

Well, after braking a little hard for an iffy yellow light for the first time today, I decided to look up what the Smartdrive lights mean. Figured I'd share in case anyone else was curious. Surprised the 30 mile stretch of driving on a staircase in North TX on US-75 never set it off -- now that I know what it looks like when it gets triggered

Ahhh do you think you triggered your camera? I think the only time I heard of safety really looking is when other drivers have told me they went to fast down a hill or they followed to close for too long. I've braked hard before, but they never said anything.
You headed back up? I'm on my way to Ohio. I thought I was going to Pennsylvania at first, but they took it off of me to give to another driver to get home so they sent me with a Sauer load to the Cincinnati area. It's going to a PFG and that's typically a load from hell lol. It was a pain even to run it yesterday. I kept getting caught in traffic jams so I got to Marshall Illinois and gave up lol.mdmgolfin, Thrasher28 and JForce28 Thank this. -
PFG in Bowling Green is pretty decent, but yeah, they're usually a pain. I haven't been to Ohio yet since I've been here, but I won't complain about that lol. Traffic is even more irritating when it's an easy run like that and everything goes wrong.
I'm at the terminal. Getting fan clutch issue looked at, as well as the APU in the morning. Truck is due for regular service also, so I'll probably be here most of the day. Wondering if they'll just put me in a replacement truck since this one's up to 466k. It's a solid truck though, so I'm hoping they'll let me run it a while. I've been holding off on bringing things I don't need from home until I get in a truck I'll be in long term.bryan21384 Thanks this. -
If the fan clutch is a repair that is time consuming enough, they'll swap you into a different truck. That's smart thinking not to overload your truck til you get into a different one. At 466k, that one definitely is on borrowed time. This PFG in Fairfield may be the worst one I've ever been to. I came here once before and almost lost an entire day. I'm gonna try my luck and check in early since it's such a cluster. Maybe they'll want these 7 pallets early.Thrasher28 Thanks this.

57, I left climate a couple years back, nothing like your situation, I enjoyed all my time there just pay issues, I have been with EOS out of little rock for 2 years, they are good and pay well just don’t have that feeling like climate did, although what Larry said to you makes me question ever returning and I was considering it a lot, 1 bad apple brother, as a business owner for over 30 years with 170 employees I personally would remove the poison

I hate that pfg! I delivered to Koch foods right down the street the other day. I picked up a Tyson load last night headed back down to Macon Georgia. I have three more loads on me till the end of next week so staying busy.Professor No-Name, wulfman75 and bryan21384 Thank this.
