Now I'm on my way to Saginaw Michigan to get a load of b e e t pulp shreds. I'll have to take those to Kentucky. Never hauled them before. Sounds like something that's going to be rather messy.

Keep posting. I believe it was @bryan21384 who started this thread a very long time ago. I believe I was already working at climate at that time when he started it. I had ran across another Thread about climate that was dead and nobody responding on. And I happened upon this one. And we've all just been chime and away as we've went along over the past few years on here and telling everybody about what we were doing there at climate. So don't feel like The Lone Ranger nobody thinks that you are complaining. Just keep it up and we will all have something to talk about. And no I'm not at climate anymore but you know I met some good people while I was there all through this thread. I met some decent office people too. But there was a couple I could live without.dwells40, mdmgolfin and Thrasher28 Thank this.

And by the way being my memory ain't worth a darn, I want to wish everyone on here a happy and safe 4th of July holiday. Because by morning time comes around I will forget to do that.
dwells40, bryan21384, mdmgolfin and 1 other person Thank this. -
I just try to update my experiences, good and bad so any potential drivers have an idea. Doesn't benefit anyone if drivers show up and leave after a month. Due to my own bad decisions, I'm lucky to be working at Climate, and thankful for some help from people on this forum. In other words, it's here or a 1099 gig, so I'll definitely be here for a while, good or bad. The old "thankful to be working" saying, I guess you could say.
Most of the people I've met at Climate have been great, and between home time and the 4th, I'm sure the miles will pick up
Happy 4th! Remember to bring cold beers to the DOT officers as a friendly gesture for the holidaydwells40 and Professor No-Name Thank this. -
It's been rough. Last week was my first 3000 plus mile week since I got back. Industry wide its been a bit slow from what I've been reading. I've been turning about 2500 miles a week since I've been back, a little below my average. It'll get better though. Hang in there man. When you get loaded at Torrington, make sure you're trailer is super clean. Get a wash out at the Beacon in Cheyenne if need be. They get anal about clean trailers at that location. Also, be there right at 8 o clock. They'll load you quick. Then try to get back to STL by the next day. That way they can keep you rolling.
I picked up Hershey going to a Walgreens DC in Houston. It isn't til 6 pm Wed when I can get that off. I went by the house on the way. That Walgreens in Houston...well.....it sucks....to sum it up lolProfessor No-Name, mdmgolfin and motocross25 Thank this. -
Oh yeah, when I went out there last summer, I had the bright idea to walk to a Mexican restaurant a mile up the road. I actually had to do that shirtless it was so hot. Then I had a couple of beers without thinking about the fact that I had to walk back....I didn't think that through at all lolololProfessor No-Name, wulfman75 and mdmgolfin Thank this.
