I do remember you saying you went some where along those routes for that back haul. Didn't you end up on kind of a windy road to get that load? I could be wrong on that one. There was a time I went to Jonestown or something like that to live load going back to Hershey. I've had to go to Mechanicsburg and some other place east of Lancaster. I've seen a good dose of PA running with these guys.
Are y'all gonna stick with the hopper amd team drive it? That'd be good since you seem to getting runs farther out here lately. Are those hoops just like pcp checkups and the works? I go home next Friday for a follow up myself.

That sucks about the breakdown. Years and years ago I delivered 44k lbs of frozen chicken to the big house in Yazoo City MS. It was interesting to say the least.Professor No-Name and mdmgolfin Thank this.

@Professor No-Name pretty much nailed it. As for the hiring areas, drivers that live in Colorado(I-25 east), Illinois, Missouri, Texas (I-35 east) are locks. If you live in the southeast, midwest, and certain parts of PA, that's lock. We've got drivers from Florida but I'm not sure how deep into Florida they hire. They have that standard procedure for home time, but I've been at home longer than 2 days multiple times. Normally I won't stay longer than 3 days. I like my checks to stay in rhythm lolProfessor No-Name, mdmgolfin and lual Thank this.

That’s exactly where I’m headed I was supposed to be there this morning lolbryan21384, Professor No-Name and motocross25 Thank this.

It’s not bad. I saw Mississippi State Penitentiary and thought it was gonna be a nightmare. They have a general receiving facility right before all the compounds. And they have inmates on good behavior working there. The guy who unloaded my truck would have made dude in Green Mile look tiny.
bryan21384, dwells40 and mdmgolfin Thank this. -
The D.o.t doctor wants different stuff than when we worked at climate. She's gotta get some papers done that are more current. Not sure what we're gonna do for work yet.bryan21384 Thanks this.

ALMOST had a completely smooth week lol. Got a straight through reload to Sauer last night and a reload to SC for a Monday delivery. Downside is they're running a little slow today and I now have to wait til tomorrow to get the scheduled service done on the truck, so 34 in Union instead of somewhere in TN like I was planning. It's not that big of a deal, I guess. It'll just cut down my 70 a decent chunk next week.
Are we able to bobtail around Union on PC to knock out a couple errands? And is there a washer and dryer at the terminal? Was wanting to stock up on groceries and knock out some laundry since I was planning on staying out 4-5 weeks this time aroundbryan21384 Thanks this. -
Oh yeah man. There's a washer and dryer at the terminal. Used it last night as a matter of fact. You can use PC to bobtail around Union, but they only give you 30 min a day. Make sure when you stop, you turn off your PC otherwise it will interrupt your 34. What time you gotta be in SC Monday?
I'm headed to New Jersey with a load to Costco. They gave me the rest of yesterday off because I had only 3 and a half hours to work with. I was originally gonna take Hershey up to Elkhorn, WI but that fell through yesterday so that's how I ended up with a day off. To go there and back would've given me over 3k but I gotta settle for about 2600 miles. Still not bad though.Thrasher28 and mdmgolfin Thank this. -
Miles aside, Wisconsin is a little more pleasant of a run than NJ to say the least lol, but it shouldn't be too bad getting to NJ over the weekend. Being in NJ, you should be setup pretty well for a good back haul and start to next week.
Just made it to Union at 17:30 after finally being loaded at 13:00. Have to be in Chester, SC (a little ways east of Spartanburg) at 07:30 Monday. Will be a little bit tight of a run, but shouldn't be a problem as long as there's no crazy slow downs in Nashville or Knoxville. 775 miles in around 26.5 hours with a fairly light load, so it should be alright. It's nothing but dunnage, so it's not super time critical anyways. My pride wants it there on time though
Will be 2700 or so miles this week and I'll roll over 900 to next week, so maybe it'll still turn out alright.
