So orientation yesterday went OK. There were a few things that irked me a bit, but it's not anything I can't deal with or learn to live with. Gonna give them some time. Personality wise, these people are goofier'n a pet coon. Which fits me to a tee lol. So we'll see how that goes lol.
bryan21384, autopaint, dwells40 and 2 others Thank this. -
Got my truck. 465,596 miles on it. Guess that means I'll be due for a new(er) one any day now lol.

At the terminal now. Might have/will see you, even if we don't know it lol. Glad you're enjoying it so farProfessor No-Name Thanks this.

Picked up a load from Hershey going to Ft. Worth and was told to swing by the terminal. Thought i was getting in trouble for aomething lol, bur Got swapped out of 1195 and put into 1303. I feel like I don't deserve a 74k mile truck after only being here 7 weeks, but I certainly won't deny it. Will be nice to get ALL my stuff moved in and get comfortable in a truck for 2-3 years

Been sitting right next to you for the last 20ish minutes lolProfessor No-Name, bryan21384 and dwells40 Thank this.

Ah, that makes sense lol. I noticed there was still new grease on the truck. That was the first truck I had when I got it -- only issue I had was what caused it to go to the shop and forced me into a replacement. I liked it pretty well though.
Good luck on your run tonightProfessor No-Name, bryan21384 and dwells40 Thank this. -
Well that's a first -- landing gear foot completely rusted to the point where it can just slide/fall off with little force. Of course this is after getting an OOS tire and 3 hubs replaced at the terminal
I guess the brightside is they can probably just avoid drop and hooks until I get back to the terminalAttached Files:

Biggest complaint so far....the transmission in this truck. Waiting til 56mph to downshift from 12th is beyond retarded. I'm guessing the whole fleet is in eco mode? It would be ok if there were ways to manipulate it to do what you want. But I haven't found one yet. Total weakesauce
2nd biggest complaint...the mattress they put in this thing is apparently on viagra. It's hard as a rock. I was expecting to get the big giant cushy mattress that was in the truck we used for our "road test", but I guess the FNG's don't get the good stuff yet lol.
Cleared out 8 previous driver's phones from the radio lol. Took me a while to figure how to connect mine lol. Also took me a bit to figure out all the steering wheel buttons and functions.
Is there no Def Guage on these trucks? I have yet to see one.
I'll say this: my 3 years at Magnum and their decently equipped 579s has definitely ruined me lol
Like I said earlier, at 465k, hopefully it won't be long til I get upgraded
dwells40 and bryan21384 Thank this.
