Why are the higher ups watching unload and delivery? Is it just ceremonial for a new contract or is fishmeal super picky for delivery?

Not sure. It's not the fish meal load that they're watching. It's my next load that I'm picking up in Georgia going back to Wisconsin. It's I don't remember the name of the product but it's some kind of stuff they put around the plants to hold water. And I guess on one end they're complaining about it being really dusty. Well a lot of the products we Haul are dusty and nobody ever seems to care. But I'm told that I don't know some of the higher-ups are going to want to watch it getting loaded and watch it being unloaded. Why I do not know

I loaded fish meal in Memphis one time and you kinda work under the belt back and forth. They honk once to back up and honk twice to go forward, that sorta thing. Another loader came in the building unbeknownst to me and honked. I thought it was my dude and back up and got fish meal all over the cat walk and back of my cab. Luckily for me too it was half way raining that day, so when I got out of the shed, it didn’t take long and it turned into a sort of slurry. I was lord of the flies buddy. It was awful.

Mine loaded out of a single chute. Just watched the front guage an pulled up when i needed to. Was told to stay in my truck so I did. No one bothered to tell me it was gonna pile up high. It started spilling over the driver side in the back. Backed up an got out an looked an that crap was 3 foot over the bows front an back. Shook it down an finished loading. Ended up 500 over on the trailer an it absolutely wouldn't shake anymore. I went through 3 scales an got the bypass everytime.

I heard someone say in the past, maybe on here that JJ Keller Elog goes off duty automatically each time you're at a complete stop. Is that accurate?

Bit of a different reload for me today than usual. Picking up in Fort Worth and headed up to New Century. It's straight thru delivery, so we'll see how well traffic wants to cooperate.

I think I know where you picked up at. It's a really light load isn't it? I went there not too long ago. Make sure your trailer is clean! That's a surprisingly easy run

Popped my "D.O.T. roadside inspection" cherry yesterday in Kansas. Passed with flying colors. Made the trooper chuckle several times. First time ever. Only been inspected overall maybe 3 times in 5.5 years of driving. Last time I got inspected was at least 3.5 years ago, trooper pulled me over nb on 287 between DFW and Amarillo, had me follow him up and back sb to the check station. Can't really complain about 4 inspections in a 5.5 year span lol.
This did put me even further behind the 8-ball on my delivery. So much so that dispatch messaged me informing my appt had been changed to midnight tonight from 0200 this morning. So I'm sitting here at craftsmen waiting to see if they want me to sit and del or drop and go.
I wish it had been daylight when I went across 160/10/50 thru Colorado. I enjoy that kinda scenery more than the 285 outta Denver to the tater folks. Was pleasantly surprised that the speed limit on that narry-### 10 is 65 lol. It was also nice to run a little of 287 since it's been forever since I've gotten to go that way.

Yessir, Ring Container -- 2 miles west on 820 from the 35W split. Shoutout to whoever swept this trailer well before Coke and unloaders in Dallas; there wasn't anything to sweep lol. Was in and out in 40 minutes. Easier than a drop and hook.
