I went down that route the 1st time I reloaded up in that area. The first stretch was a complete white out coming out of Idaho Falls. 191 was alright but it was so snowed in on the sides from the plows plowing up the snow that 2 big trucks could barely clear each other. I had to run the right side of the trailer into the snow bank to clear an oncoming truck.

Yeah, binge drinking was my thing for a while. Eventually got to the point that going hard for a couple days meant a 3 day hangover and horrific anxiety, so I've pretty much given that up too. Now, it's only while home and even then, only one night if any. Congrats on quitting nicotine as well -- only thing you're missing out on is a whole lot of money leaving your bank account lol.

Glad you go to stop at home and visit family. That Clearwater facility is hit or miss. They also don't allow drivers to park in that gravel lot by check in if you're early and they can't start sooner. Not sure why, but I went on an adventure trying to find parking in Shelby after getting turned away once. Delivered to Aldi with that load as well and it was 3 hours for me.

Just got to Warrenton, MO a couple hours ago. Went into shower and then came out to an 'engine stalled' code on this 34 degree continuous load going to Kinloch... of course, it's a load with a temp recorder. Cleared the code and it started back up at 35.7 degrees, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Appointment is at 04:00, but receiving starts at 02:00. I'll probably head there in 20 minutes when my 2 hour split is up anyways. At least throw a little bit of liability in their court in case it ever stops and won't start back up lol.

I don't think there's anything a repair shop could do that wouldn't throw off the temp more than restarting it if/when it happens again.

Just noticed the sports comment at the end, but same. Football is way better with a little (a lot) of beer. The only thing that revived it for me was getting into sports betting. I want to say gambling is bad, but I'm up overall and it's made watching sports more fun, so I guess it's not the worst lol. It even got me back into watching the NBA. Haven't watched it since I was a kid when my family lived in Celtics land (New Bedford, MA).

Oh yeah it can be an adventure looking for parking in Shelby. It's a big shopping lot farther east in town from Clearwater Paper that allows trucks to park there. I think it's the same intersection where that super small truck stop is that has the Bojangles in it.

That happens from time to time. One of the newest trailers will start and restart itself repeatedly. I think it's 4001. Make sense out of that. At least if got there and checked in, they may have called you to unload earlier than your appointment. Definitely like Kinloch.

Yeah, I put 2 and 2 together and realized it would have been right after the automatic 6 hour, defrost cycle. I'm guessing it just had a hiccup when it kicked into low speed again. Never gave me another problem. Kinloch had horrific reviews, but I had a pleasant experience. Got there around 18:30, parked and made dinner, got a call for a door 10 minutes before my appointment and had paperwork in hand 2 hours later. Can't complain about that for a grocery warehouse.

I'm just sitting here at Craftsmen waiting to hear something after dropping my empty. If I had to guess, probably a Sauer load going to Greenville that I can route through the house. Knowing my luck, I'll find my ID in the most obscure place. I've been scavenging Craftsmen's pavement for it, but no luck yet. Thought I might've dropped it while crawling under pre tripping that one last Thursday

I will go to Kinloch anytime. They have everything I need there. Overnight parking, they let you check in early, and it doesn't take long. I offloaded in Atlanta a while ago. Got a weird reload picking up in Rome going up to Decatur IL, to the Caterpillar plant there. It picks up tonight at 8 and drops tomorrow at 5 thirty. Maybe I can get loaded and later off loaded early. I'll just get in position and see what happens. Here's to hoping you find your wallet man!!!

You know, I've never got into sports betting. In a way, I feel like it got some of the wrong people watching these games. Some of these bettors go crazy when their players don't perform well enough for them to win. You see players getting racial slurs and all kinds of disrespect speak from fans at the games. While I feel like fans that pay their money have the right to express themselves, there should be a line. It is a great way for more casual fans to put eyes on the product.

I love the NBA man. I'm so glad it's back in session. I gotta get the league pass so I can watch whichever game instead of what's in market at that time. All these great young players and international players is making it fun for me. It's so many styles of ball involved now.

That's very true -- lots of people seem to not be aware of the actual odds in sports and are betting with money they don't have. Like Davante Adams only getting 1 reception against the Lions. It'd be despicable for someone to call him racial slurs, and it'd be laughable if someone claimed he was a bad receiver because he got overthrown while wide open multiple times lol. Sometimes things just don't work out.

I just enjoy it for the sake of making games more fun on slow weeks or between games, especially in college. I had Ohio State at -18.5 against Rutgers. Ohio State and Rutgers wouldn't have had my interest otherwise lol, at least not in the sense of actively watching all 4 quarters
