I might have seen you today. I spent the night down at the 440 truck stop on 40 left there about a little bit after 9:00 this morning. Seeing a climate going east up on 40 somewhere I don't remember what time it was and of course I didn't catch the truck number. I was on my way back up to Kentucky to dump my rejected load off.

Ah, we were close, but it would've been someone else. I wasn't able to get rolling until around 11:00EDT. At least you missed the mess back in the gorge earlier

Figured out the problem: For some reason, the pressure is set for 80 on the auto inflate. I don't know how to adjust it and don't wanna mess something up, so I just inflated em all to 100 and flipped the shut off valve. I'm assuming that's all thats needed to turn it off. Tedious to do with a truck compressor and a cheap air hose setup lol, but it worked out I guess. I know the new auto inflate systems deflate as well, so maybe that pressure was set wrong as well. I'd rather take my chances on not running over a bolt instead of rolling around with 8 tires at 80psi.

80psi isn't crazy low, but if it's being kept at 80 by the system instead of increasing naturally with heat, it's not gonna end well on I-40.

You're having bad luck with those Kentucky loads lol. It's a cursed state at times.

Yeah every load that have has come out of the Guthrie elevator has been rejected. I don't know why they keep ordering it from the same place that's beyond me. But hey at 4000 a round to the truck for a thousand an 50 miles they can spin it all week long I don't care.

Delivering here at Aldi - O'Fallon at the moment. Was a beverage load out of Charlotte. Headed to Climate after to get this trailer sorted out Monday morning. 2700 miles paid this week and then rolling over 700, so I'm content. I'm tired of Missouri to the Carolinas round trips though. This was my third round trip back to back lol. Good miles though, but bad for my blood pressure.

Ahhh yes. It wasn't too long ago that I loaded out of that beverage place. They were fast as hell too. Those Carolina runs can get real heavy at times. If they could finish that 26, it would make all the difference in the world. I'm just leaving the house to go get in position to deliver in Waco tomorrow night. I'll take a gamble and see if they want it a couple of hrs early.

On a side note, we ended celebrating my daughter's birthday at Applebee's. I haven't gone there in forever, because I felt their food has dropped off over the years. She chose the restaurant as a spot to celebrate. I had a quesadilla burger. I gotta tell all of y'all......that #### was bizarre, and delicious!!!! They won me back as long as it stays on the menu.

I discovered a pretty good work around for 26 from US74. Take 221 from Rutherfordton up towards 40. Comes out in Marion. 10 miles longer and have to cross the mountain, but helped me avoid an hour or more backup on 26. And yeah, that place had me loaded just barely after my 30 minute break was up.

A quesadilla burger sounds good! I haven't had Applebee's in a while. They've always been in the same category as Chili's and Ruby Tuesday's for me -- decent food, but not somewhere I seek out. Might have to reconsider.

Waco from Memphis isn't too bad at all. You get to miss the US75 congestion and just a short trip around 635. And the best part... none of red-light hell in Oklahoma lol.

I didn't request home for Thanksgiving, so not sure where they'll send me. Hoping they'll send me out to Colorado or something that I can reload Wednesday with decent miles through Thanksgiving. Or if they send me a Georgia load or something I can take through the house, I'm happy with that too. I just don't want to get stuck with a 500 mile load needing to be babysat for a few days, but I know Thanksgiving is funky for freight, so no biggie if so.
