Ended up with a Colorado load that delivers Wednesday at 05:00. Thanksgiving week miles are looking promising if they can get me a reload on Wednesday

In my few Thanksgiving, it seems like the benefit of staying out is usually pretty good loads. All the 3-500 milers are all taken up by home times.

Two years ago, my Thanksgiving trip was to Gilette, WY from Iowa and then deadheading straight back with Bomgaar's empty. Last year, I was heading to Laredo from Kingsport, TN.

 

Trailer today gets a pass. A couple seeping hub caps and one tiny bald spot on an inner tire, but nothing worth stopping the train for. Climate gets points today, especially for being a 36xx number Trailer. Maybe my luck is turning around here.

Oh man, you should see the menu at McDonalds in Japan. But nah I think Chili’s was pretty normal due to being on the base, I had fajitas lol.

 

Headed to Wray, CO to load taters going to Kinloch for a Friday morning delivery. Took me 5 months to go to Kinloch the first time and now it's the third time in 3 weeks lol. Glad to be headed East for taters instead of West. Get to avoid all the Thanksgiving I-25 traffic.

I might consider parking at Craftsmen and ubering to an outlet mall or something on Thursday night

And the craziest thing happened today... I checked the weather and there's a tail wind instead of gusting cross winds. Maybe it's a Thanksgiving miracle.
