It snowed in Texas Sunday night. I had a pickup in Burleson going to Aldi and I got held up because they were so short staffed. I got out at 6 pm. Started driving and got some coffee. Felt pretty good, and kept going til I got to the yard. I'm out of time all the way. I'm way ahead of schedule though. I've got a 4 am tomorrow. It was pretty easy getting up here. My truck started coughing lol so I had to stop in Chouteau amd swap out a fuel filter...man it was cold as #### trying to do that too. This sleep I'm about to get is gonna be divine

Concur. It's all arbitrary lines on a map, so just make things simple. Indiana=Eastern. Illinois=Central. This isn't hard.Peace_Maker and bryan21384 Thank this.

I think Indiana gets the most tricky along I-64. I had a Hershey load going to Dale, IN one time and it was right on that line. The trick is to put the town in the weather app. That'll tell you all you need to know. That last time I went to Phoenix was the same thing. I was under the impression that they were under pacific time, but at that point when I went out there, they were under mountain time. I had no idea til then that they don't do daylight savings timePeace_Maker, Thrasher28 and Tolkien Thank this.

There are still parts of Indiana that stay on central time so one still has to be mindful of that. An when ya go to arizona ya gotta make sure what time they're on. Arizona is mountain time part of the year an pacific the other cuz they don't change their clocks.bryan21384 and Peace_Maker Thank this.

I am ready for warmer temps. This cold snap has been a little brutal. No fuel problems cuz I been running additive. But had a hard start Sunday. Got it going an just let it idle at home till Monday. Then yesterday the place i was supposed to deliver was froze up an broke down so i had to redirect the load which made me unable to get reloaded. Loading now to go to Minnesota.bryan21384 and Peace_Maker Thank this.

Also my hood latch broke an i couldn't get it secured monday so i had to go to my local shop an get that fixed before i could get rollin.Peace_Maker Thanks this.

That Indiana is pretty easy when your up by Chicago. I think it stays in central til you get to about Burns Harbor if you're headed towards Michigan on 94. I think it goes back and forth going down 65 til you get to Indianapolis.Professor No-Name and Peace_Maker Thank this.

Dang it man. You had some challenges in this cold for real. It has been brutal. I think it's couple days more of super cold temps at night before it let's up. The wife told me a whole lot of snow got dumped in Memphis the other day and are street is still icy from the snow storm on Sunday. They got a good 3 to 6 inches all the way across Tennessee. The kids haven't gone to school all week. I'm like you, already over winter. My APU has kept up in these temps surprisingly and I haven't had to idle too much. I'm head down to Fort Worth with Hershey. It'll be a little more tolerable at least for a day down there.Professor No-Name and Peace_Maker Thank this.

It switches over around the 230 or 215 on 65 goin south.Peace_Maker Thanks this.
