My appointment is at 1800. My thought was to get to the Pueblo Loves around 1500 or so, and take a 2 hr break. Once unloaded I should have an 8/2 split. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to park around there in the middle of the night though? For when I'm unloaded.

You can park in that lot for the night, they won't say anything to you at all. I always use that lot because sometimes that Love's in Pueblo gets tricky for parking. Also if you're reload info has you going to Monte Vista, all those potato places have plenty of room for parking. We most frequently reload out of Growers Shipper or Worley and McCullough and both of those have a big lot to sleep for the night. If you aren't too tired, I'd drive to Monte Vista to whichever shipper, sleep there, and begin the day from there. If I start in Monte Vista, I know for sure I can get to Wakeeny at the very least. Sometimes I can get to Russell. They expanded the parking lot at the 184 there in Russell. That's a winner for me lol

Reviews are correct lol. I've been there twice and both were 4+ hours. They're consistently slow enough you're better off taking a nap and not hoping for a miracle. Especially if it's a candy load.

On the brightside, they allow you to bobtail off property and do whatever you need. Downside is it's so far to town and back that it's a little bit of a big detour to grab food and come back, so show up prepared.

So, should I go straight there instead of taking a 2 hr break prior? Get my 2+ hr break in while they're unloading me so I can beat feet up the hill?

That's how I would run it....You'll be at Target so long, you'll get a nap. I always plan for at least 3 hrs at that Target. You'll definitely begin your split there.

Used exit 80 just off 81 an 77 in Va. Didn't pay attention to the town name. An yea lol he probably would let me letter it. He has money maker on the back of his cab cuz he has a single bunk flat top an can haul probably at least 2 or 3 more ton than the rest of us.
